It's pretty weird that suddenly Asiasoft would develop an incomplete MMORPG and the thing that made MapleStory popular was the fact that it was 2D. Moving into 3D would obviously require more RAM, hard disk space etc. The first two pictures are MapleStory while the bottom two are screenshots from MapleStory 2. MapleStory became addictive to me because of it's simplicity as a side-scrolling game with "ok" backgrounds. The soundtrack was awesome, the only thing that bugged me was that it was too hard to level up especially when you're at a higher level. That's what resorted me to play private servers.
So, my point is I don't know how well MapleStory2 is going to be better than it's predecessor..
